Problems Running Google Chrome

Hi all

I have just found Slax and from what i have seen so far it is just what i am after.

Before i start it is worth saying that i am very new to linux as have been a windows man all my life, but do know my way around a pc and a command line.

The problem i am having is with chrome. I add the module "Google Chrome 12.0.742.112" and all the dependancies, download the iso and run it.
The desktop (KDE unless i am mistaked) apears and life is good, there is no icon for chrome anywhere so i open a command prompt and try to run "google-chrome" i then get the following error : "error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: c annot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Can anyone shed light on this issues and if so can you do so in simple terms for my windows brain to comprehend?
