First of all, before going further, try seeing if these modules help you:

If they don't, I would recommend giving Porteus at http://www.porteus.org a spin, because Slax 6 cannot handle a lot of the more modern cards correctly.

I hope this helps you out; good luck!

I'm trying Slax 7 on an old(er) Compaq Presario V2000 which also has a BCM4318 wireless card. Any idea how to get it working in Slax 7? Can I use a Slax 6 module? I know the wireless works because I've also used Tiny Core Linux on that laptop perfectly (more or less, the latest upgrade broke my OpenBox desktop so I figured as long as I fiddling I may as well give Slax a try - it's Slackware after all!!!).

But yeah, how to get the BCM4318 working with Slax 7!?
