Thanks for providing solution for my previous query, I am running a cyber cafe and using handy cafe software in win xp, but in slax i am able to install the software (Server) "and able to log in as well, But it is not detecting clients running handy cafe client with win xp, and more over after insallation completes handy cafe server asks for system restart if i restart my system the handy cafe is is removed",
I am able to run win games but not softwares" Can any one please upload Handycafe Server module compatible with handy cage client running on xp.
do you use the save changes cheatcode? - comes as first thing to my mind when you say the installation is not saved..
As for the detecting thing.. are you sure all network settings are right?
Can you ping the xp clients from the slax server and vice versa?
As I understand Handycafe is windows-only software, I don't know if it's possible to build a slax (.lzm) module
of it.. (look at the slax documentation pages for more info about this)
If you did install a "virtual machine" kind software (vmware etc.) then the problem of connecting to the "outside" is probably in the way your "virt. machine" is configured..(you might need to change some things in slax too) But like I said, first you need to figure out if you can ping host-client/client-host...
I think we've already covered this. While running an internet cafe i have attempted to do the same with a software called netstep (now abandonware). If you are running the software under wine then you can't do it. Windows and slax handle networks in two different ways.
hi dear i instal handycafe in my cafe i have 6 computer and i connect with my server computer all client computer are connect wbut in server computer so only 1 computer pic and ip address after same time ip are change so tell me how i see my all computer logo together

hi this is suman, i have a cyber. I tried to use handy cafe software for management of time in cyber. I installed clients and server. I think my network is also ok but The problem while loging with new username in client,shows the message "no response from server". Anybody have any idea plz help me.
hi there!. i installed both server and clients handy cafe but i cannot connect clients to server even once.im using window 7 in my server and ultimate in my clients.should i need to change it?.i can play lan games.so i taught there will be no problem.but now i cannot access all my clients computer for it automatically starting up handy cafe.pls help.thanks

log in as admin then go to options, then cout the ip of your server... if you dont know the ip of your server, run the cmd then type ipconfig, then you will see ipv4 .... 192.168.254.(etc) then copy that to the client's option..then logout and restart! :)
I have installed the handy cafe sever and clients I have been using it for the past 2 months but suddenly yesterday their was a power outage an d when power was restore 2 of my clents arent responing to the server I have check if the internet is connected and it is I cant do much cause the handy cafe display wont give me acesses to get in the computer and the password wont work either. Please can some one help me thanks

- Is the handy café admin.application the only progr. you can't access?
- Are there any backups? so you can put an old config.back.
