I'm from spain.

No consigo hacer ejecutar ningún módulo de Google-Chrome, de los dispuestos en modulos, a pesar de bajar todos los módulos dependientes.

¿Qué hay que hacer?

Gracias,

Slax is to old and chrome / chromium have to much dependencies.

Try to use Google Chrome Portable from PortableApps.com :

http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/google_chrome_portable

or SRWare Iron Portable (Chromium based) from PortableApps.com :

http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/iron_portable

with one of the latest Wine modules :

From Google Translator....
Thanks for trying em.
There is a call wifislax Slax distribution, targeting the wireless audits, which is implemented and running Google v17.xxx.
But use XZM format modules. You have the ability to convert XZM to LZM (SQ3 and SQ4), but I made both possibilities and implemented in Slax without success. Slax modules are detected as corrupt.
Conversions debian and rpm packages are not. Google-Chrome running from terminal asks dependent modules, they are DECREE and ends with an error.

libplc4.so.0d libplc4.so
libplds4.so.0d libplds4.so
libnspr4.so.0d libnspr4.so

and

libssl3.so

and newest GLIBC that's not on Slax

Ive converted to lzm and tested under Slax 6.1.2 the Wifislax google-chrome-17.0.963.83.xzm module :

/opt/squashfs4.2/squashfs-tools/unsquashfs -f -d /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83 /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83.xzm

mksquashfs /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83 /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83.lzm -b 256K -lzmadic 256K

chmod a-wx /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83.lzm
chmod a+r /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83.lzm

activate /root/Desktop/google-chrome-17.0.963.83.lzm

When i start Google Chrome by is command line :

/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --user-data-dir=/opt/google/chrome/profile

The module start correctly but fail to launch cause it depends on new GLIBC ... like the original Google Chrome.

/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.8' not found (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /usr/lib/libz.so.1: no version information available (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome: /usr/lib/libz.so.1: no version information available (required by /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome)

These binaries are compiled with newest GCC incompatibles with slax 6.1.2.

Use Porteus instead, cause Wifislax is based on ...

Or try to compile Google Chrome on Slax 6.1.2 but its another story :)

Regards !

Translated by google:

Thanks for your interest.
I'm writing from Slax 6.1.2. with google-5 browser beta, which I could run, but its features leave something to be desired.

I'm waiting for the next version Slax 7. We'll see if it includes Google.

Thank you very much.

Thanks Theben

As I said above, I managed to run a versióin 5 of google. I do not remember if they invite me to use or another. In any case, both versions 5 and Google are now in the 12 or 13.
Very grateful, wait a google module that functions or a more advanced version of Slax.

A big greeting
