I've been using slax for 2 weeks now. After many questions here on the board i finally got my wireless to work with WPA. As a gift back to the community i have created a script that automates the process.
You just start the script and answer 2 questions and hopefully your wireless connection is up and running using WPA. This should work for anyone that already has their drivers sorted out. It uses the source code for wpa_supplicant and compiles a module then installs some scripts. I have posted the step by step tutorial here:
I am using slax 6.1.2 and an Intel PRO wireless 3945abg card. You can download the entire package with all required modules from my site below. Just unpack the tar to your desktop and read the README!!!
I DOWNLOADED DA FILE SITTING FOR AN HOUR AND GREAT! I CLICKED THE SCRIPT GREAT! NO1 ASKED ME ANY QUESTIONS!
I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR WORK
PLEASE HELP ME OUT!
I M USING A WIFI USB ND MY ROUTER HAS Wpa2 encrytion.
