Slax has always had xorg problems, I Don't know why these problems were not solved. It would be a good distro if these problems disappear. When I Use slax and do things such as coping or deleting a lot of files on a partition that is not the slax one xorg crashes and sometimes the screen flicks with the cursor that go where he wants. Have you ever noticed this problem?
The graphics problem that you are experiencing might be because xorg in slax 6 is too old :(
Have you tried the latest drivers, ie., download them from slackware-current and lzm'd them?
You can't complain too much. Have you donated to slax project? If you have, then you have right to complain and ask Tomas for help, but if you have not then you are on your own my friend.
